Boteko's Banter: Mexico City First Impressions

Published on June 1, 2025 πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ English

What a city! I've only been here a couple of days, but Mexico City is already one of the most vibrant places I've ever been. The sounds of the street vendors, the smell of tacos al pastor on every corner, the sheer history... it's incredible.

A huge thank you to my contact here, Ximena Arencia, who is proving to be the ultimate guide. She's been pointing me to all the authentic spots. We haven't even met in person yet, but her advice has been golden. She's a fantastic resource for any journalist visiting the city.

We're finally meeting up tomorrow for a tour of a place with some "real history," as she puts it. Can't wait to see what she has in store. More updates soon! -Hank
